WAREHOUSE DESIGN PROCESS

The senior project, which is named “Outlining the Comprehensive Flow of Warehouse Design Process”, is for Green Lojistik will be done by İzmir University of Economics, Logistics Management students between October 2013 and June 2014.

 

This project will serve to the aim of outlining the comprehensive flow of warehouse (retail warehouse) design process, starting from the feasibility phase, towards the construction. While doing this, feasibility analysis criteria, software requirements, location selection criteria, legal requirements, key performance indicators, equipments selection (material handling), outsourcing options, human resource management, employee health & security, sustainability nodes and mechanical, static, electronic infrastructure will be taken into consideration. Accordingly, creating a toolkit is the part of our goal.
